The "Standard Trading Conditions"assume that you have your cargo comprehensively insured with an extension to cover any transit damage sustained whilst loading, unloading or during transportation. Unless specifically requested in writing, and before carriage of any cargo, Cargo Services of N.Y.,Inc. will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to cargo whilst in our control. The additional cost of any such insurance will be at your expense. We also expressly exclude any liability for consequential loss or damage.
Insurance is always a sensitive subject and because of the importance we place on our relationship with you, it is an aspect of our association that neither party can afford to ignore. Please ensure that your insurance policies are suitably endorsed for transit. This formal reminder of our "standard trading conditions" has been brought to your attention to make sure that you have the opportunity to read the conditions in detail.
